Method
1:
This
method is risk free of damaging your precious iBook. All you need is a USB
wifi card and then build a cantenna for it to boost the range!
What
you will need:
iBook
USB wireless device
USB extension cable
Antenna
Step
One:
Build an antenna that you will be using with your USB wifi
card. (See our Antenna
Building section to learn how to build the right signal booster for you!)
Step
Two:
Depending on which antenna you decided to build, place your
USB device central to the antenna using the USB extension cable. You may in
some cases need to drill a hole in the cantenna to allow space for the USB
dongle to fit in nicely such as the hole in the cantenna below:
Step
Three:
Plug in your USB device into your iBook.
Step
Four:
Open up and run your stumbling software
and away you go!
